When you install MusicLab's guitars you can select which libraries you want to include in the installation (44, 88 and/ or 96k, I think it is) but I'm not aware of a way to select those within REAPER prefs.ĪFAIK, MusicLab has nothing to do with NI (makers of Kontakt) and they certainly don't have to be opened within Kontakt 5. If my understanding is correct, these three programs don't have to be opened in Kontakt 5, right? When I press the FX button in the track window, and then either VSTi or instruments, it shows all 3 Music lab products right there in the window beside Kontakt 5, Absynthe, and all the rest. Maybe I need to go back to 4400 and reinstall, you think? so I chose 8800 for the patch bank settingin Music Lab, then changed that in reaper preferences. The only thing I did differently was I remember reading that 8800 is better for I think WAV, or maybe FLAC files than 4400. I've got a support inquiry in about that, haven't heard back yet. ![]() They seem to be installed correctly although, I was not able to install the Have you tried that to make sure they're installed correctly? Also, make sure you're using the latest versions from MusicLab. You should see essentially the same GUIs as you see when you run any of those guitars in standalone mode. You shouldn't have to open any of those settings to get started and you certainly shouldn't see a white screen. I'll just bet that I need to choose one of those settings to open, but I haven't a clue which one.Īnd, not wanting to redo something that I might do wrong, I'm looking for some advice as to how to load these three programs.Īny help from you guys/girls out there would be greatly appreciated. Import VST patch/bank file (.fxp/.fxb) Import VST etc. ImportPresetLibrary (.rpl) ExportPreset etc. Press plus button (+) gives highlighted choices (not greyed out): etc.Īlso a note: "Bridged Plug-in may be open in top level." The three MusicLabguitars were there under VSTi.Ĭhoosing any of the three ML products gives me a white screen with "Program 0" and a dropdown with a number of programs 1,2,3,4,5. "clear cache and rescan." everything seemed to go all right.ģ) Opened file. Added the three Guitars from both locations. ![]() The files are in (Win7 64bit): ProgramFiles and ProgramFiles (x86).Ģ)Open Reaper Went to Preferences. Here's what I've accomplished so far:ġ) Installed all 3 and applied licenses. Anyone know how to get Music Lab's Three guitar products up and running in Reaper? I'd appreciate some help. The application can also be used to accompany a real guitar: its chord dictionary containing over 900 variations should be enough to satisfy the most.
